I have always heard of Paypal nightmares and I thought that they would never happen to an honest buyer/seller through ebay and paypal. However that all changed when a customer from France only gave me 3 days to get a package to France before he claimed that he did'nt get his merchandise and requested his money back. I am a victim of hurricane Katrina, and after the storm postal service was shut down completely at first and is still crawling at a snails pace 6 months later. He somehow exspected a package to come from LA/MS disaster area to france in 3 days. He requested his money back and even though I had a USPS receipt and a customs form showing how, where, and when the package was sent; they decided to take his word that he did'nt get the package.

This started a chain reaction of reversed transactions through my acount and caused negative feedbacks on ebay. they said that I needed a tracking #: well guess what-the USPS can not issue a tracking # to any postage overseas as the USPS has no means to track anything that is mailed overseas. They neglect to put this bit of information on their user agreement. This is a nightmare! I got taken for $40 for one item, and another $25 in lost income- they took another customers money to pay the guy in france: and they say that I owe this guy money even though I never saw one red cent from the other(second) customer. Now they just send constant reminders that I owe these people money. Please Help!
